In each module, based upon their relevant experience with, for example, turnarounds, the development of new business strategies, restructurings or corporate takeovers, the trainers convey their personal recipes for success and methods. Module I: Strategic Development and Basis of the Change ManagementWithin the parameters of a self-evaluation, the participants review their current competences, draft their personal strengths profile and formulate their goals for the programme. They receive methods which they can use to develop the strategic basis for change processes. The fundamental knowledge about change management is conveyed. By using an example, the factors for the success of change processes are depicted. Module II: Formulating the Design, Structure and Development of Change ProcessesThe focus is on the planning, preparatory work and project design in change management. Owing to successful and failed change projects, it is communicated how important a competent management team, a clear goal and a strong feeling of urgency are at a company for the success of change processes. Through the aid of checklists and analytical tools, the participants learn how implementation risks and all planning dimensions can be taken into consideration. Module III: Communication, Attitude and Role of the Change ManagerThe participants intensively analyse their own attitudes during the change processes and formulate their personal management principles. The development of communication concepts based upon various change projects is trained. In so doing, the target group-appropriate selection of suitable communication methods is discussed and communicated with regards to how management personnel notify their employees of important decisions. Various workshop scenarios and dialog formats are presented and practiced in a limited scope. Module IV: Dealing with Objections and Conflict Management during Change ProjectsBased upon a concrete change project that is implemented over several years, it is shown what diverse types of conflict potential may confront a change manager. The so-called conflict matrix for change processes is introduced as a helpful analytical tool. Within the parameters of individual case studies, the participants learn how they can constructively deal with power plays, hierarchies and painful personnel measures. They learn how one can transform objections into support and maintain motivation among all persons participating in the process. Module V: Ensuring Sustainability, Strengthening of a Stable Corporate Culture After Changes are MadeMethods and strategies are communicated to the participants as to how they can implement the changes being undertaken at the company over the long-term. An important factor is namely how the willingness to change can be firmly anchored into the corporate culture in order to be able to react to continuous change with corresponding measures. Cultural analysis processes are introduced and the participants learn how a mission statement can be developed and implemented in such a manner that it promotes success.
